Virtual Bracknell Ale & Cider Festival 2020

Something a bit different

Hello! In any normal year, we’d be preparing to welcome you to Bracknell Rugby Club on Sunday for our Bracknell Ale & Cider Festival. Last month we very sensibly decided to postpone. This made us very sad.

Since then though, we’ve seen plenty of beer festivals and groups around the country organise virtual pubs and virtual beer festivals through the likes of Zoom, WhatsApp and Hangouts and we thought we should try to do something for our Festival.

So, this coming Sunday afternoon, instead of enjoying the traditional Festival we all love, we’ll be broadcasting through our Facebook page a virtual Bracknell Ale & Cider Festival 2020 with live music and interviews. It won’t be the same, we know that. But most importantly we will try to do something. To help you prepare we shall provide a beer and cider list so you can pre-order from our favourite local brewery friends, in time to get into the Festival spirit, sit somewhere comfortable and tune in on Sunday.

We’re putting on the event completely free in support of Bracknell Rugby Club, but we will have a donation pot open if you are in a position to make one.

What else can you do? We’ll want pictures of your festival setups shared on social media via #virtualbacf20. We’re still putting a schedule together but if you’d like to perform or got any ideas to support this event please email beer@bracknaleevents.co.uk

Keeno and Tom.
